H Mozilla ανακοίνωσε ότι εγκαταλείπει τα σχέδια της για ολοκλήρωση του Firefox for Windows 8 με εμφάνιση “Metro” λόγω μειωμένου ενδιαφέροντος από τους χρήστες.
Διαθέσιμη είναι πλέον η έκδοση Firefox for Windows 8 Touch Beta από την Mozilla, η οποία υπόσχεται απρόσκοπτη λειτουργία σε συσκευές με οθόνη αφής.
